On the afternoon of 12th and 13th April, a promotion conference on the study abroad program in Woosong University was held in the library lecture hall of our college. About 700 student representatives attended the lecture delivered by Dr. Liu Nian, Director of Chinese Department of Study Abroad Program, International Communication Center, Woosong University.
Dr.Liu Nian introduced the basic information of Woosong University. He indicated that in Korea, Woosong University was known for its powerful university comprehensive strength, its cross-cultural and multi-lingual environment forlearning and living, its professional teaching staff from world`s elite universities, and the university also presented students a profound academic atmosphere. Students who studied there could gain a multi-level employment platform. Moreover, they could receive a bright future on further study with relatively low expenses.
Woosong University had more than 300 foreign professors and over 1100 overseas students coming from nearly 40 countries. The Railroad Transportation College and Solbridge International Business School are brand colleges in Woosong University, and some majors are perfectly corresponded to our college in the railway majors and economic management majors.
At last, in the Q&A part, Dr. Liu patiently answered the questions that students asked and he stated the relevant requirements of trans-disciplinary study in Woosong University.
The conference deepened our students` understanding and knowledge of study abroad in Korea, establishing a new platform for our students` overseas study, and it also promoted the communication and corporation between two schools.
